GISBORNE, August 16. A report issued today by the Gisborne Woolbrokers ' Assoeiation on the Gisborne crutching- sale, states that the of'fering totalled 1624 bales, mainly crutchings but iueJuding also a -.sinai! quantitv of straggler fleeee and .oddments. At other North Island auetions held recently substantial offerings ot stock pile fleeee were catalogued. Attracting the usual bench of buyers, tlie Gisborne catalogue was practically only crutchings and buyers operating represented the bulk of the buying strength for this t.vpe of wool. A very satisfactorv sale resulted in almost a total clearance of crutchings being effected The oflicial range: — Good to super flrsts 26(1 to 30d, average to good flrsts 19d to 25?.d, seconds 15d to I8jd, inferior . and seedy fld to 14d.
