ST. JOSEPH'S TEAM'S OUTING
.During the weekend the St. Joseph's basketball team travelled to Wellington to compete in the Catholic tournament, gaining third place for the shield. The most exciting game played by the local team was the one in which theyf were defeated by the winners of the I shield, Hutt Valley, by the small margin of eight goals to six. Teams participating in the competitions came from as far north as1 Napier and as far south as Blen-p heim,
