AUCKLAND, August 11. By scoving seven tries (six converted t o a penalty goal. Auckland outclassed the Maori Rugby touring team at Eden Park today by 33 points to 3. M'eathci conditions were ideal and there was a crowd estimated at 14,000. The all-round team play of Auckland proved too good ,1'or the IMaoris who looked a tired team following thei: arrival from the Eijian tour yesterday. The tourists failed to combine effectively at any stage and made many errors through Vild in-passing when the ball should have been passed out. Auckland had the larger share of the ball from the scrums, lineouts and rueks but the Maoris had plentv of eliances which tliey failed fo turn to advantage. Tries for Auckland were scored by Doveli, MeLean, Boggs (2), Allenj McHugh And Christian. Scott converted six. Ivenny ldclced a penalty goal for tku Maoras.
