Three-Hour Discussion Of Berlin Blockade

Received Tuesday, 10.40 a.m. LONDON, Aug. 9. The envoys of Britain, France aud the United States saw M. Molotov at the Kremlin this afternoon and had a tfijeehour discussion with him. ' The Western envoys received instructions from their Governments during the weekencl and they conferred for over an hour at the United States Embassy this morning. In Germany today, the- Deputy American Commandant in Berlin, General William Babcock, said that the Soviet military administration had ordered the central administration of. the German raihvays to be prepared to move coal trains from Helmstedt to Berlin "at a moment's notice." General Babcock said that the loaded coal trains were in readiness in the British Zone should the Russians clear up the "technical disturbance" that had stopped all Western rail traffic into Berlin. Two armed Russian soldiers arrested the United States Military Governor of Bad Kis singen, Lieutenant S. F. Turner. and a civilian official jusl inside the Russian Zone on August 5, since when there has been no iraee of them, says the British United Press'. Frankl'urt correspondent.
