Out of a total of 11 fights the Kiwi Club were successful in winning eight and Levin three. The standard of boxing was high and some exciting bouts were seen. What the boxers lacked in skill they made up for with their aggressiveness and determination. The local boxers' fights resulted as follows: — Paperweight: J. Procter (Levin) 5.4 beat W. Lissington (Kiwi) 5.14; M. Maher (Levin) 5.6, beat R. Lissington (Kiwi) 5.3. Flyweight: H. Knuth (Kiwi) 7.4 beat K. Hesp (Levin) 7.6; W. Travers (Levin) 6.11 beat B. Perry (Kiwi) 6.11. . . Lightweight: M. Hart (Kiwi) 9.10, beat J. Harris (Levin) 9.5. Catchweight: R. Leader (Kiwi) 9.5 beat K. Bibby (Levin) 9.12. At the close of the tournament trophies donated by the Manawatu Boxing Association were presented to the winners of the evening by Mr. G. W. Watcnhorn. J.
