As the cost of dried blood plasma was prohibitive, being more than £7 for a teacupful, and the equipment for processing it was also expensive, stocks of "wet" plasma were kept at the Dunedin Public Hospital instead, said Dr. M. McGeorge, who is in charge of the blood bank at the hospital, at a meeting of the Voluntary Blood' Transfusion Society. The, "wet" plasma, he added, was pfovided i^rgely by friends and relatives of $atients.
