Australian Athletes Coming To New Zealand
WELLINGTON, August 3. A letter accepting an invitation for a team to visit NeAV Zealand next season, was received by the Ncav Zealami Aniateur Atliletic Association council tonight from the Amateur Atliletic Union of Australia. The Australian union suggested that the team, which would probably consist of six or.eight inembers, should leave for New Zealand about mid-February next year. •- The Ncav Zealand association has reptied c-onflrnnng "an* invitatibVi pre'viously sertt ' and asking for the dates of the Australian" cljampionship.s as soon as fhey become av'ailable, as these are likely to have some bearing on the international fixture. The Australian Union also stated that it was unlikelv that it would be possible to make the event/a regular fixture Hiainly because of /h'e tinaneial cou-« siderations.
