Pamir Nears Home
Received Wednesday, 12.5 a.m. MELBOURNE, August 3. The New Zealand barque Parmir which left Antwerp for the "Dominion on May 1, was reported toh'ight to be passing through Bass Strait making 7 knots. Following winds gave the Pamir a good run of 2000 miles across the Australian' Bight, her average speed heing 91- knots.
