WELLINGTON, Aug. 4. Miss Helen Kelier, accompanie'b by Miss Polly Thompson, weri received at Government House yes terday by Their Excellencies, whe^. the Governor-General placed h^ hand on his lips in order that sb(e might converse with him. "No one could have been mor.kind, sympathetic and understand ing than the Governor-General,'' Miss Kelier remarked following the audience. "I had quite a long conv versation with His Excellency and we both enjoyed our visit very inuch. Of course, I had known oi his distinguished record as a soldier."
