Forty Aboard Missing Seaplane

LONDON, Angust 1. A giaiit six-engined French Hydra vien seaplane is missing between Martinique and North Dakar with 40 passengers and a crew of 12, says the British United Press' Paris correspond ent, quoting an Air France annoupcement. The United States radio station in the Azores picked up an SOS from the Hvdravion. Two long-range Air France planes, with French- naval aiieraft, also a warship baged at Dakar have .commenced to search.
