MASTERTON, August 2. Wairarapa seored the uiost couvineing win against the visitors so far when they beat the Australian hockey team by 6 goals to 3 at i\rastertou today. Wairarapa Ied 4 to 2 at half-tiiue and pressed home their advantage with individual brilliance and sound defence in tlie seeond spell. The grourid was slippery in places and the Australians J'ound diliieulty in coping with it. Gordon Rowe, the fornier New Zealand cricketer, scored four Wairarapa goals with the others by -T. .Taniieson and Norman Towns. F. Browne, A. Barnes - and B.. Salisbury scored for Australia. '
