JUSTIFICATION BY FAITH Reader, if you are bewildered by contradictory creeds, if yOu are grieved by the blasphemous onslaughts on the Bible, if you are distressed at the amount of suffering, crime and degeneracy that weighs down the human race, you shou^d read the Scriptures. Rom. 3:19-20 — Now we know that what things soever the law saith, it saith to them who are under the law: That every mouth may be stopped, and a-11 the world become guilty before God. Therefore by the deeds of the Law there shall no fiesh be jusitfied in His sight: for by the Law is the knowledge of sin. Titus 3:5 — Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to His mercy He saved us, by Ihe washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy, Ghost. BIBLE TRUTH Concerning the Sun of God The following statement from (Acts 10:38), "God anointed Jesd^ of Nazareth with the Holy Spint and with power," this statement alone is sufficient . to disprove the popular view of Christ's essential Godhead. If He were "very God" in His characfcer as Son, why was it heeessary Ile shduld be "anointed" with spirit and jpoWer? He did no miracles before His anointing. He had no power of Himself. This is His Own declaration; "I can of Mine Own Sfelf do nothing" (John 5:30), "The Father that dttelleth. in Me, He doeth the works" (John 14:10). .
