Rabbit Skin Prices Show Decline

A large catalogue of rabbit skins was Submitted to the usual bench of buyers at the sale conducted this week by' the Otago Farmers' Cooperative Association. Values showed a sharp decline. Winter bucks were cheaper by 18d per lb., while winter -does decreased up to 6d per ib.x Hatters grades were par to.6d per lb. down. The following is the range of prices per lb.: — Small, to 15d; inferior broken, to 12-ld; third broken, to 66d; second broken, tc 88d; first broken, to 98d; milky, 68d to 107d; summers, 68d to 77d ;• spring bucks, 102d to 117d; spring does 105d to 115d; outg. bucks, 116d tc 133d; outg. does, 118d to 150d; spotty bucks, 140,d to 150d; spottj does, 150d to 166d; winter bucks 153d to 196d; winter does, 161d tc 230'd; furrier does, to 214d; racks to 70d; runners, to*50d; autumn, tc 92d; late auts. and incmgs., to 107d; autumn fatty, to 92d; winter fatty to lOOd; weevilly, to 36|d; summei black, to 50d; autumn black, to 71d; winter black, to 16l'd; summei fawn, to 73d; autumn fawn, tc 120d; winter fawn, to 140d; bare skins, 108 to 147d; hair, to 53id; first large ferrets, to 19s lld ea.; first stoats, to 13s 8d ea.; first smal] ferrets, to 12s 6'd ea.; inferior ferrets, 5d to 6s lld ea.; inferior tc average stoats, 3d to 3s lld ea.
