WANGANUI, July 22. Interprovincial women's golf teams from Manawatu, Wanganui, Wellingtor tind Taranaki concluded their tlirec davs fixture today when Wellingtor beat Manawatu and Wanganui drev with Taranaki. Steady rain' marrec the fourball matches in the mo%ing Gonditions were bet-ter for th# start oi the singles but intermitt.ent heavj showers marred the latter part of th( games. Wellington won two four-bal matches, the third being halved, anc won all six singles. Taranaki won two singles and twc four-bal 1 matches and Wanganui qm four-bal 1 and three singles, one single: being halved. - Wellington now has six points, Wan ganui and Taranaki three points an( Mnnawatu nil. The matches will be continued late when Hawke's "Bay and Poverty Ba] wil! also take part.
