WANGANUI, July 21. The interprovincial women'g. golf ovent between teams representing Wiinganui, Taranaki, Manawatu and Wellington, was eontinued on the Belmont course today. Wellington heat Wanganui by two l'our-ball matches to one and four singles to one; one four-ball and one singles were halved. Taranaki and Manawatu squared four-ball matches botli scoring a win with one mateh halved, Imt in the singles Taranaki won five matches with on '■ halved. Wellington now has four poin.tR and Wanganui and Taranaki two points each. Uliief interest today eentred in the mateh between Mrs. H. Murray (Miramar) and Miss J. Dunean (Wanganui) wliich the former won 4 and 2. The event will be conehided tomorrow when Wellington plays Manawatu and Wanganui meets Taranaki. Plav today was marrod- by rain in the morrting but the afternoon was fine and warm.
