Selection Of Basketball Representatives
(To the Editor) Sir,— Basketball enthusiasts are iooking forward to ■ the annual game between Horowhenua and Hutt Valley next Saturday. For the : past three or four years, this game juas" been keenly anticipated by piayers and spectators alike wiicrever it is piayed. m my op'inion a strong Horowhenua representative side can be seiected, providmg the majority^of L-ne p.ayers are seiected from tne Wanaerers Basketbali Club. This ciuo eonsists of six Horowhenua representative piayers of the past : and, I think, aiong with many oth- ' ers, that these piayers are still lar superior to any others in the association. I would suggest that the following team be seiected to represent Horowhenua: — Forwards: J". Winiata, -C. Beli, M. Nicholson and M. Batten. Centres: J."Selby, A. Jacob, J. Roberts and M' Karauti.
