" " Administrative irregularities ' ' are said to be tlie reason for an oflicial inquiry into the administration of the Building Controiler 's Oiiice ^.t Auckland which has resulted in the suspension of the Building Controiler, ALr. T. McKnight. Another ofiicer was dis- I missed before the inquiry b.egan* The suspcnision was codfirmed in Wellington today by the chairman of the Public Service Commission, Dr. R. B., M. Campbell, who emphasised that the ollieial concerned was Mr. MaeKnight and not Mr. Iv. Rowlings who now. held the position of distriet housing superintendent.
