WELLINGTON, 'July 19. The executive of tlie New Zealand Olympic Assoeiation has aimouiiced that at a meeting of the executive committee tonight, it was deeided to eonflrm tlie application of ! New Zealand for the 1950 Brifeish Empire Games. A letter received- from the "Manager of the New Zealand Olympic team on 8a turda v, reported that the training of all meinbers was proceeding satisfactorilv and tliev were all hopftful of putting up c.reditable performances at the Games; also that return passages had been booked o.n the Tama roa leaving Lotidou on Aii'gust 26.
