Malayan Terrorists Attack Police Station
Received Monday, 7 p.m. SlNGAPOliE, July 19. A force of 100 Chinese insurgents on Haturday mdrniiig attacked Guaniusang police station, .120 miles nortli of Iyuala Lumpur in Kelantan State, report the police authorities. Another report gives tlie number of insurgents as 300 and says that after a grim battle the tqrrorists captured a police inspector and 14 constables. One eonstable was shot dead. Another made 'an 80-mile trek to report the attack. Terrorists also attacked two neighbpuring estates* and seized a sipall (juantity of firearms and a truck. The Guaniusang police are reported to have resisted nntil their ammunition ran out. Australian authqrities, duning the last fortnight, have refused Brishane representatives 5f one of the biggest ruiibor estate r.nd tin mi'ning agencies in Mala.va, permission to export by sea, several hundred revplvers for the prptection of Eki'OP.Qap, Australian and Asiatie employees from the terrorists, The agency is now seeking arms from the Unitej States.
