Miners To Hold Further Meeting
GREYMOUTH, July 19. A iather unexpected development in the dispute which has idled the Strong-. man and Liverpool State mines at. Runanga sinee June 21, was the announcement this evening that a further ma'ss meeting of all members oi the State Miners ' Union would be held 'at Runanga tomorrow. Aslced to eomment on the re3spn"s for the" meeting which follows one held on r. Sunday when it was decided to continue the strike, tlie president of tlie nnion, Mr. G. E. English, had.no eomment to make beyond saying that it was due to a new development. Owing to the meeting,- the delegation consist- ' ing of Messrs English, R. H. Mitchell and J. Harrington, which was to com mence a tour of the Buller districl mines tomorrow, will not now proeeec until the decision of the meeting ii kiiQwa» .
