WELLINGTON, July 17. . ' ' Blue baby and other prosp.ective cardiosurgical patients will be accepted for examination at "the Green Lane •Hospital, Auckland, next week. Acthal operations will not begin for some • time and the work to start on Tiiosday • will comprise clinicai examinations, X-ray screenings and'fanalyses oi blood. Dr. Douglas Robb who recently r6turned from a trlp overseas where h,e studied the operative and clinicai. . methods of dealing with the disease in the United States, Canada, and the United Kingdom will be in charge of the work. Making this ' announcement today, the Minister of Health, Miss Howard, said it was recommended in those cases where people had children or other members of their families who were suffering from this affliction, that first of all they should eontact the superintendent of their local hos=pital who would make subsequent arrangements. Dr. Robb has presented a report to the Minister of Health in which he advoeates work dn blue babies" should and must be undertaken in New Zealand. %
