Aerial Topdressing Experiments in aerial topdressing will shortly be carried out by the R.N.Z.A.F. over 70 acres of hiil country near Raglan. The work is being done at the request of the Soil Conservation and Rivers Con--trol Council, and is expected to begin within six weeks. An Avenger torpedo-bomber, modified to take two tons of superphospha^te in the bomb bay, will be used for the trials, which will have the primary object of discovering whether an even distribution of 2 cwt. an acre can be obtained. Costs of the work will aiso be assessed.
