Extra Seating At Levin Park Domain
A meeting to further consider the provision' of additional . seating accommodation at the Levin Park Domain was held last night. Whether it was lack of interest, forgetfulness or just the wet, cold night, the attendance of representatives of sports and other interested bodies was disappointing. . At a previous meeting called by the Levin Boys' Military -Band delegates attended in full force. It was then decided that they report back to their organisations, seeking approval to devising means to.provide extra seating"6 at the domain. Only nine organisations were represented at last night 's meeting, ■ and it was decided that these delegates comprise a provisional committee. All bodies not represented last night are to be contacted asking for a definite answer as to whether they will support the scheme or not, and a further meeting will be held to form a full committee. Extra seating accommodation is urgently required at the domain, !and with a willing band of workers this can be provided- without any cost to the ratepayers at all.
