W ELLIN GTON, July 13. Althought the exact date of the Wanganella 's. returu to the Tasman service was not ddlinitely lcnown, ^ flotation test to the' repairs would oe made i n Beptember, said the New Zealand manager of the lluddart Parker Line, Mr. N. D. McLean, today. For tlie test the Wellington floating dock would be lowered and the ship stili on the dock, would euter thb water for inspection. Once the ship had been found seaworthy little time would be lost in returning lter to service. Alr. McLean said a erew of 15(1 inen would have to be brought from Australia and this was a probiem as 15U people was practicallv a shipload. Asked whether the Wanganella would carry passengers from New Zealand to Australia wlien slie first re turned to service, Mr. McLean stated that the situation was still indelinite. It might be necessary to return her to Sydney before she entered the Tasman passeuger run.
