Woman's Jump When Trapped By Flames
. WELLINGTON, 'July 13. . A Wainuiomata residcnt was injured this afternoon ■ when she jumped from the second story window of a burning farm house. She is Mrs. Olive Winifred Cron, aged 54, vvho was admitted to the Hutt Hospital with head injuries, in jured ekest, baek bums and shQek. Her eondition was reported toniglit as satisfactory. - It is believed that Mrs. Cron went upstairs to save some belongings only to find that she was trapped. Thought to have been built about 80 years ago, the house, wliich is half a uAie from the nearest neighbour and Lhroe or four miles from thq main settleuient, was alipost coinpleteiy defjtroyed by the time the fire brigade arrived.
