Last night's meeting of the Chamber decided "that in view of all the circumstances, and having m mlnd past ref usals for dual listing and wastage of paper, we approach the Postmaster-General to exclude telephone exchanges situated withln the Palmerston North Post Office area from Hawke's Bay and Wairarapa directories, and to include all such lists' of subscribers in the Manawatu directory, and that we request the' department to rename the directory 'Palmerston •North' instead of -'Manawatu.' "
