Manakau Plunket Society's Meeting
The annual meeting of the Manakau sub-branch of the Plunket Society was held recently. There was a good attendance, and among those present were members of the Levin branch, while Mrs. L. J. Hunter conducted thei election of officers. The election of officers for the ensuing year resulted as follows: — Patron: Hon. R. Sem'ple; president: Mrs. L. Jensen; vice-presidents: Mesdames R. L. Robinson and W.t J. Reid; joint secretaries: Mes-; dames J. N. Bryant and R. B. Ben-j nell; committee: Mesdames A. M. Atkins, N. Atkins, Barbery, Bregman, Knight, Olliver, G. Mudgway.l E. Miles, W. Swainson and MissJ Cotter. : t ; After afternoon tea had been! served by the hostesses, an inspec-' fion was made of the new Plunket1 rooms, which are almost completed.,
