The eiosing followed the diaguosis of a 10-year-old day pupil at the sehooi as a posilive case today. Boys at Iving's .Sehool had already left. the scliool for the niid-tenu break when the decision lo close the sehool was uiade. .The boys were to have reassembled next Tuesday but will now stay at home until advised i»y the health authorities. Bounliug pupils wlio have returned to t lie : r homcs in the couatrv districts,- wili have to remaiu in isolation at home for 14 days. Other schools plaeed in isolation by the Health Department recently are the Dilworth School (Otahuhu), Technicti! Scliool, Newton School, Pasadena School, Avondale Intermediate Sehool and Belmont School. The total number of positive cases in the Auckland hospital is now 50. There are no suspeet cases.
