HOROWHENUA COUNTY COUNCIL PROPOSED MANGAONE DRAINAGE DISTRICT PURSUANT to Section 168 Of the / Qounties Act, 1920, NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Horowhenua County Council, in compliance with a petition presented to it, proposes by special order to declare the area described in the Schedule hereto to be a district for the purpose of the construction and maintenance of drainage-works therein. A plan of the proposed district is deposited at the office of the Otaki Borough Council, Otaki, and may be there inspected without fee during office hours up to and inclusive of the 9th day of August, 1948. SCHEDULE: All that area in the Wellington Land District bounded by a line commencing at the north eastern corner of Lot 1, D.P., 9904; thence in a southerly direction along the eastern boundary of Lot 1, D.P. 9904, to the south-east corner of Lot 1, D.P. 9904; thence in a westerly direction along the southern boundary of Lot 1, D.P. 9904, to the north-east corner of part Lot 1, D.P. 2092; thence in a southerly direction along the eastern boundary of part Lot 1, D.P. 2092, to the north-western corner of Lot 4, D.P. 3260; thence in an easterly direction along the northern boundary of Lot 4, D.P. 3260, to the northeast corner of Lot 4, D.P. 3260; thenbe in a southerly direction along the eastern boundary of Lot 4, D.P. 3260, to the north-western corner bf Lot 5, D.P. 3260; thence along the north- eastern boundary of Lot L, D.P. 3260, to the intersection with the Te Horo Beaeh Road; thence across the Te Horo Beach Road; thence following the southern side of the Te Horo Beach Road in an easterly direction to the north-east corner of Section 3S, Pukenamu S.S.; thence in a southerly direction along the eastern boundary of Section 3S, Pukenamu S.S., to the south-east corner of Section 3S, Pukenamu S.S.; thence in a weSterly direction along the southern boundaries of Section 3S, 2S and 1S, Pukenamu S.S., to the south-western corner of Sec--tion 1S, Pukenamu S.S.; thence in a southerly direction along the eastern boundary of Section 8S, Pukenamu S.S., to the south-east corner of Section 8S, Pukenamu S.S.; thence by a right line to a point on the southern boundary of part Ngakaroro, No. Block, 7976.9 links from the south-east corner of Pt.
