Basketball Team For N.Z. Tourney Announced

The Horowhenua Basketball Association's seiectors have now completed their task of picking the team to compete in the New Zealand Basketball Associations tournament, which will be held this year at New Piymouth. It is: — Forwards: Joyce Winiata{ Mrs. J. .Ssiby, Elsie Matulich and A. Den- , ton. Centres: M. Karauti, R. Judd, J. Roberts and S. Parr. Defence: N. Gordon, J. Parr, J. Bird and one other stiil to be chosen. The first representative fixture wili be on July 24 against Hutt Valley's A, B and C teams and Te Kawau's A and B teams, all of the above to be played at_ the Horowhenua College courts. .
