' Splendid entries have been ; receive'd for the Manawatu Hunt's annuai point-to-point steeplechase meeting, which." this year is being held at Carnarvon next Saturday, commencing at 11.30 a.m. •, The' site isa25 miles from Levin on the main Foxton-Sanson Road, and at the corner of that road and Rosina Road. Entries have been received from Otaki, Levin, Feilding,. Rangitikei and Waverley, and an interesting da£'s sport is assured. The point-to-point meeting, which is the virtual wind up of .the hunting season, serves as a prelude to the club's annuai race meeting, to be held this year at Awapuni a fortnight later on Juply '24.
