A woman was electrocute'd at her home at Waiotahi, Opotiki, on Tuesday. She was Mrs. Marjorie Wallen, aged 42, the wife of Mr. George N. Wallen, a linesman employed at the Waiotahi substation. Evidence at the inquest showed that the deceased was using an electrolux with a wire which was bare. She touche'd an electric radiator which was switched on, receiving the full" charge. Mrs. Wallen was discovered by her daughter who returned home at school play-time. The daughter called. Mr. L. Allison, the. sub-station operator, who applied artificial respiration without avail.
