Butcher On Charge Of Murder
CHRISTCHURCH, July 8. Charged with murderingN Bertha )3essie'Amie Day at Paparua, near Christchurch, on May 14, William Albertus Ivan Stuck, butcher, aged 40, appeared in the Magistrate's Court this morning. The Crown Prosecutor (Mr. A. W. Brown) conducted the case for the police, while Mr. E. M. Hay appeared for Stuck. Forty-nine witnesses are to be called.
