Received Wednesday, 7 p.m. PAXAMA CITY, July 6. The police announced today tliat 375 had been arrested in connection with political plots at the weekend, wherein at least four were killed and scores wounded. As a result of the disorders the Government has declared a state of siege and placed the country under the control of the Xational Police. The sil nation was the outcome ot the iiulecisive presidential elections wherein the opposition , candidate, Arnulfo Arias, apparently won by a small margin over the governmental candidate, Domingo Diaz. Arias and oilicials of his revolutionary party took refuge in the Canal Zone as soon as violence broke out.
