I SUNDAY AT 2.30 P.M.: The Women of Levin are cordially invited by the C.W.A. to hear MRS. ERIC MARTIN, of the Butler University, U.S.A. Mrs. Martin is a well-informed and very capable speaker. BIBLE TRUTH Concerning The Son Of God The simple appellation of "Son," as applied to Christ, is sufhcient to prove that His existence is derived, and not eternal. The phrase, "Son of God," implies that the one God, the eternal Father, was anteeedent to the Son, and that the Son had His origin in or "out of" the Father to Whom He must therefore be subordinateffii a sense inconsistent with Trinitarian representation. "This day« have I begotten Thee," is the language of Scripture, clearly pointing to a commencement of days. This view is confirmed by the statement of Christ: "As the Father hath life in Himself, so hath He given the Son to have life in Himself" (John 5:26). Christ, therefore, though now possessed of inherent life, had been invested with it; it is-not in this case underived. It is only the Great Increate, the Father, that can say, "I am, and there was none else before me." Free literature in relation to j Bible Truth gladly sent to any! address on application to H. W. Christie, McDonald Road, Levin.

"CREATION": GOD OR THE ANGELS — WHICH? Nowhere in the Scriptures does ifspeak.of the angels creating the Heaven and the Earth, but instead of them "creating," they were created, and are created Heavenly beings (Rev. 10:5-6). In Gen. 1:1 God (Heb., Elohim Plural) created the Heavens and the Earth. "To create" is to make out of nothing. God alone could do that. In Gen. 2:7— The Lord God ("Lord," Heb. Jehovah; "God," Heb. Elohim Pl) i'ormed Man out of the dust of the ground. Here God made man out of the material which He made out of nothing or caused to exist. In Gen.. 1:26 God (Elohim) let us; make man in our image, after our' likeness. In Col. 1:15 it speaks of, Christ, as the image of the invisiblej God, and speaks of Him as the Creator in verse 16 in keeping with John 1:1-3. In Heb. 1:4-8 He1
