SUSPECTS ADMITTED TO WELLINGTON HOSPITAL.

WELLINGTON, July 2. An eight-year-old girl was admitted to the Wellington Hospital today as a suspeet poliomyelitis case. The AVellington District Medical Health Ofificer (Dr. Hubert Smith) said today that where a child was absent from school for any illness the child would be visited by a nurse and if there were any suspicious cireumstances then permission would be granted not to ret'urn until the quarantine period had elapsed. This would be an added precaution to closing certain schools.
