Personal Mrs. N. N. Barron, of Mateixe Street, Otaki, who is an inmate of the Palmerston North Hospital, is reported to be making good progress. Misses E. 'Price and M. Gumbertz of the Rambert Ballett Orchestra have been the guests of Mr. and Mrs. B. Ryder, Riverbank Road, C)taki. Mr. J. Winterburn, of Otaki, who was severely injured when he was struck by a ear.dn the main highway near Manakau recently, is now making a rapid recovery. Mr. and Mrs. W. Spooner, of [Manaia, are the guests of Mr. and Mrs. T. V. Cahill, of the Telegraph Hotel, Otaki, for the weekend. They are accompanied by their daughrer, Miss P. Spooner. j Mrs." Broadway, of Rangiuru, and : Masters Don ' Grant, of Raukawa I Street, and Peter Larsen, of Main Street, are all Otaki inmates of the Palmerston North Hospital.
