Received Friday 7.35 p.m. \ SYDNKY, July 2. ^ Huddled together in a. blood-soak-bed, each shot through tht head, the six. children of Frederick Charles Hgll, qged 46, a hanfiyman, 'were foupcl dead today in a ramsflackle Sflanty, four miles from Glen Innes, In anpther room douhled up on the floor, hysterical and in a state of nervous Gollapse, was the father. He is now in.the Qlen Innes fiistrict ho,Sr pital under police guard. The mother, who has not yet fieen told of the tragedy, is in the materflity ward of a private flospital. A few days. ago her seventh child died shortly after hirth. The ages of the dead children ranged from l3 to two years. The police belipve they died ahout midnigflt last night within a few minutees of each other, flut the tragedy was not discpyered until 9 a.m. today. Shortly before then a floy ran to tfle ambulance station and told the oflicer tflat a man was having fits in the sflanty. The officer rushed to tfle sflanty apd discovered the tragedy. Hall said that after tea last night all' the children pomplained of stofliach pains and mouth burning. He gave water to them for three hours; then everything went blank.
