When H.M.S. /'Llverpool" left Portsmouth for the Mediterranean she took 27 cases of torches for use in conne'ction with the Olympic Games. The torches will be sent from Malta to Athens. One will be lighted on Mount Olympus. . From it other torches carried by marathon . tunners will be lighted, and the last torch was carried into the stadium at. Wembley when the games oponed.
