The New Zealand Waterside Workcra' Union has been requested by (lie New Zealand Federation of Labuur not to send a representativo to thc Cook Islaiuls with the federation delegation leaving shortly to investigate : labour troubles, but the watersiders have not agreed to withdraw their rejiresentat ive, Mr. Alex Drennan, 11ational vice-president of the union. Richards, to the islands, Mr. Drennan said today that lie understood it was because thc federation did not approve of individual trade unious sending represcntutives.
