Although various schemes for using the trvo old aircraft were iudicated by the inquiries received, tlie great nuvjority suggested tliat there ivas a cliance of either the Aotearoa or Awarua being convcrtcd into a liome or else a seaside bacli. Oue woman had the idea of making one of the fiving boats into a bowser station with the fuselage as -an ofiice and the petrol pumps mounted under the 114ft span of the wiugs.
