BUTTERFAT PAYMENT
Levin Company To Advance Fnrtner., 3,687d A final payment of 3,6875d pgr lb. on ali butterfat supplicd during the season ended May 31 last is to be made .by the Levin Co-operative Dairy Company, Ltd., bringing the total payment to 26.502d per lb. . This decision was reaehed at a Special meeting of the directors of |he qompany, held yesterday. The payment this year is the highest since 1921, when the company pald out!32.5d per lb. The annuai -.generai meeting of shareholders will be held on Wednesday, July 21, when there wi'il be an eleetion "for direetors. Messrs. D, K. Guy and R. W. Horne are the"y retiring directors and they are 3) eiigible fgr re-gleetign, Mr. M, A. Nix, who is giying up dairying, will be resigning after the annuai j meeting. For the three vacancies on the board the following supplieys have been nominated: Messrs. D. K- Guy (Koputaroa); R. W. Horne (Ihakara), W. Gilliland (Linton) and F. O, Maico'im (Levin) . '
