SWEEPING POWERS FOR POLICE.
SINGAPORE, Jnne 18. It wps officially qnnounced in Ivuala Lumpur tonight that the emergencv regulations conferring sweeping powers on the police have been exfended to the whole of the Mplayan Fedqration, but do not apply to the Colony of Singa pore.
