Margaret O'Brien and Ciaude Jarman will co-star for M.-G.-M. in "Child Pioneer." Cornel Wii'de has been glving fencing exhibitions in Hollywood for Olympic funds. Cornel was selected for the 1938 games fencing .team, but because of stage work, coulcl not accept nomination. Early next year Sa'c-u returns to India to star in a me'iodrama to be filmed with all-India finance. Mrs. Te'd Briskin, the well-known film actress, Betty Hutton, has presented her husband with a baby girl, which is the second addition to the family. Janet Martin, the 18-year-old Republic starlet, is also studying to be a newspaper reporter at the University of Southern California Janet considers it the most glamorous of careers. In some respects she is right, but in others— well you iask a reporter, j Ma'deline Carroll has returned to !the screen after an absence of s:x ! years. The blonde English star 3s , working in Hollywood on the film '"An Innocent Affair" with Fred MacMurray. Not so long ago Madeleine announced she would nevei s return to the films. Force of circumstances- has caused her to chanae her mind.
