JEWS CHARGE BRITAIN WITH GIVING CAMP TO ARABS
Received Wednesdav, 11.30 p.m. LONDON, June 16. ■ Reuter 's British United Press Tel Aviv correspondent says .the Government of Israel stated tliat the British on June 10 are haiuling over to the Arabs two military camps seven miles south of Haifa. It added that tlfe Jews would regard this as a violation of the truce and would drive the Arabs from the camps as soon as the British left. The camps are astride the main .Tewish lines of communication between Haifa and Tel Aviv. The Jews cluim that they would provide the Arabs with a military position they did not possess before the eeaselire. Egypt has sent Count Bernadotte a Note reporting further alleged .Jewish truce violatious on the Egvptian front in Palestine and warned that unless the positions were restored to'tliose at the tiiiie the truce eaine into force the Arab armies would be "obliged to repulse the aggressors. ' ' The British United Press 's Jerusalem correspondent says the Jews are workthq jrui-e to linish the oil pipeline from' the coast to .Jerusalem which is one-third coniplete to ensure a iuel supply for the city. The British United Press \s Tel Aviv correspondent states that the Jewish terrorist organisation Irgun Zvai Leumi has become a political party within the Rtate of Israel known as the Jewish Freedqm Movement. irgun Zvai Leumi outside Tsrael will still be a military organisation. The party 's programme claims the whole of Palestine wcst and east of the Jordan, advocates frieiully relations with Russia and the United Rtates and the unrestricted " repatriation" of Jews to Palestine.
