Extra Street Lights The Horowhenua Electric Power Board has estimated that 100 additional street lights will be required throughout its district. Recently the board notified local bodies :n its area that increased street lighting was now possible, but 'all replies have not yet come to hand. At Wednesday's meeting of the board it was stated that the annual cost to local bodies for each light would be £3 per annum. In cases where the distance between lights would be more than 15 chains, the local body concerned would be asked to meet part of the capital charge.
