The JapaTlese will send two factory shps each accompanied bv 10 to 12 oatchers. This' will be the tliird whaling expedition the Japanese have been allowed to send to the Antarctic since their surrender. The onlv concession niade by General MacA.rtlmr in the faee of Allied protests was to reduce the number of Japanese factory ships from three to two.
