Mr. and Mrs. W. Ralph, of Mil'l Road, Otaki, are spending a holiday at Paraparaumu Beach. Mr Brunton, of Dowsett's Drapery, Otaki, has been discharged from hospital, and has resumedj work. Mrs. Broadway, of Rangiuru, ( Otaki, who recently entered hospi-[ tal with a leg injury following afall, is to undergo an operation. , Mr. F. D. Crombie, an erstwhile ; resident of Otaki Railway, is visit-1 ing Otaki at present, and is the guest of Mr. and Mrs. A. Denton, j Senr. Miss Myreen Cobb, of Te Horo, who was recently operated on "at Amara Hospital, Levin, expects to be discharged within the next few days. Master K. McLeavey, of Aotaki Street, Otaki, was on Thurs'day operated on for appendicitis at Amara Private Hospital, Levin, and is progressing favourably. Miss Mary Hing, who has been in the Palmerston North Hospital for some time past, is reported- to be making steady progress, although likely to be an inmate for some time to come. Master Donald " Grant, of Raukawa Street, Otaki, was on Thursday operated on foliowmg his transfer to the Palmerston North Hospital with a knee injury. The lad is reported to be making steady recovery.
