A service was conducted at St. Mary's Angiican Church by Rev. G.' B. Stote-Blandy, who later officiated at the graveside. The cortege from the church to the Levin Cemefery was a yery lengthy one, compnsing some 50 cars. The pallbearers at the church were Messrs. H. J. and W- Q, AYo.ollett, H. Varnham, J. Pargohs, E. Seddon and NMerc.er, with whom the deceased ybung njan had worked. At the cemetery the casket was borne by some of his team mates in the Athletic juniors, Messrs. R. Judd, GRippin, A. Hills, H. Law, L. McMinn a.nd S- Gjmbiett. The array of floral tributes was both large and beautiful, bearing strilang testimony to the . esteem ^in which Lenard was held. The bereaved parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. D, Ren.kfn, have been the recipients of much 'sympathy ip their sad and untimjel-y loss, a sympathy which is" also felt for them by the whole community.
