HAMILTON, June 11. As thp. ljesuit of an accident between a cyclist and milk lorry just north of Hopuhopu mili^ary camp near ^Taupiri early 'this morning a maii waE killed and. the doctor,who was summqped .tan. off the road and received a severe shalcing. The vjctim was Chayles . Fyedej'ick Johes, aged about 55 vears, , tngrried with tliree children. He was a Presbyt'erian missiQner of Ngaruawahia, ""y The accident occurred at 6.20 a.m. and there were patchos of fog"*in -tlie vicinity at the time. Dr. R. Thorburn, of Ngaruawahia, was suinmoned but as his car was out of order he borrowed a truclc. -On the way the truek ran olf the road into a ditch and Dr. Thorburn was .fortunatc to escape with a severe shaking.
